Last week my mom hosted a women's conference in Brooklyn, NY called "The She Effect Conference". It was such a powerful time with all my sisters. For the second day, we were given pink t-shirts labeled "She Effect" to wear for the concert portion,"Holy Girls Rock". Having an experience and a reputation for cutting up shirts and making it my own, I had gotten- what started out to be a few- requests to cut up shirts for the event. Before I knew it, word got around that I was cutting shirts and pretty soon everyone was asking me to do it for them.
DIY (do it yourself) is pretty amazing in more ways than one. You can take a simple shirt or pants and transform it to give it details, pizazz and a new look for no cost and little time!
Watch this short video below for a quick look at me adding triangle cutouts to someone's shirt.
